Payment Schedule: Payment by credit card or electronic payment is due upon registration to guarantee your Membership in the group. If paying in three installments, the second payment is due 30 days after the first installment; and the third payment is due 30 days after the second installment.
Refund Policy: The Member is responsible for the full 3-month Membership investment commitment. No refunds will be provided.
Cancellation Policy: If the Member decides she needs to cancel her membership before her 3-month commitment is complete, no refunds will be provided. If the Member needs to miss a meeting, she can pick back up with the group in the following meeting.
Confidentiality: The Coach will keep the Member's information private, and will not share the Member's information to any third party unless compelled to by law. All Members of the Divine Feminine Writer's Group will sign a Membership Agreement that ensures the confidentiality of the group.
Intellectual Property: By participating in this group, you maintain ownership of your work product. It is understood that the work product of this relationship is the sole intellectual property of the Member. Coach or other Group Members have no authorship rights.
Termination of this Agreement: Coach may cancel this Agreement if, in the Coach's sole discretion, it is no longer advantageous for the Member to continue. Coach will provide notice in writing to Member of any such termination. If this happens, the Member is only responsible for the pro rata share of the Membership received. In the event of the Member's absence or withdrawal, for any reason whatsoever, the Member will remain responsible for the full program cost.
Relationship of the Parties: Coach is an independent contractor and not an employee of Member.
Limit of Liability: ​Member agrees that the maximum amount of damages she is entitled to in any claim of or relating to this Agreement or Services provided herein are not to exceed Contractor’s total cost as set forth in this Agreement.
Indemnification: Member agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Coach for any injury, property damage, liability, claim or other cause of action arising out of or related to Services provided herein.
Force Majeure: Either party may choose to be excused of any further performance obligations in the event of a disastrous occurrence outside the control of either party that materially affects the performance of Services, such as: an act of God (fires, explosions, earthquakes, hurricane, natural disasters, flooding, storms or infestation), or War, Invasion, Act of Foreign Enemies, Embargo, or other Hostility (whether declared or not), or any hazardous situation created outside the control of either party such as a riot, disorder, nuclear leak or explosion, or act or threat of terrorism.
Severability: If any portion of this Agreement is deemed to be illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions of this Agreement remain in full force, if the essential provisions of this Agreement for each party remain legal and enforceable.
Governing Law: The laws of California govern all matters arising under or relating to this Agreement, including torts.
